NOV. 9

Cows in the road. Police responded to a report of cows in the road in the area of Manning Avenue and Neal Avenue. By the time police arrived, the animals were gone.

DENMARK TOWNSHIP

NOV. 11

Arson. A man in the 13000 block of 122nd Street reported someone set his truck on fire.

GRANT

NOV. 9

Car/deer accident. A deer was killed in a collision with a vehicle in the area of Jamaca Avenue and Jamaca Court. The vehicle sustained damage to its front grill.

HUGO

NOV. 12

Asleep in vehicle. Police responded to a report of a man sleeping in a vehicle in the 5000 block of Evergreen Drive. The man said he'd had an argument with his girlfriend. Police drove him to a friend's house a block away.

MAHTOMEDI

NOV. 10

Landlord complaint. Someone called to report that his landlord looked in his mailbox in the 100 block of Greenwood Street. The complainant was moving out anyway but wanted the incident documented.

NOV. 11

Suspicious vehicle. Police received a report of a small, dark-colored sports car with a loud muffler driving up driveways in the 400 block of Park Avenue.

NOV. 12

Vandalism. Police observed plastic streamers and assorted food items including syrup and Spam in a yard in the 400 block of Barrington Place.

NOV. 11

Car/deer accident. A deer was killed in a collision with a vehicle in the area of Manning Trail and 176th Street.

OAKDALE

NOV. 10

Burglary. A 75-year-old man in the 2100 block of Gentry Avenue reported someone had entered his vehicle parked inside his open garage and took a handgun from the center console.

Theft. A 27-year-old man was apprehended at Mills Fleet Farm, 5635 Hadley Av., for stealing a fish ruler valued at $2.79. The man admitted taking the ruler but stated it was an accident.

NOV. 11

Theft. A woman reported that two credit cards were stolen from her purse in a classroom at Tartan High School, 828 Greenway Av. An investigation determined that two 14-year-olds used one of the cards at two different stores, police said. Both juveniles attempted to implicate the other in the theft, police said.

NOV. 12

Property damage/theft. Police received a report of two males stealing change from coin machines in the laundry rooms on the first and second floors of the Ridgecrest apartment building, 969 Greenway Av.

SCANDIA

NOV. 10

Animal concern. A resident in the 12000 block of Mayberry Trail reported large cat-like tracks on his property. The resident thought they might have been left by a mountain lion or bobcat.

StilLWATER

NOV. 9

Sign complaint. Police received a complaint about a sign in a yard in the area of Myrtle Street and 6th Street proclaiming "You're next, Obama."

NOV. 10

Suspicious occurrence. Police responded to a report about people in a car in the area of Main Street and Chestnut Street; the caller believed they were about to get into a fight. Police checked the area, but the vehicle and people were gone.

NOV. 11

Animal concern. Someone in the 2200 block of Orwell Court complained about a barking dog. The complainant stated it has been an ongoing issue.
