BAYTOWN TOWNSHIP

SEPT. 18

Loose horse. A pony was reported loose in the front yard of a house in the 14400 block of Olinda Boulevard.

DELLWOOD

SEPT. 17

Suspicious vehicle. A resident of Doral Drive reported what he believed to be a suspicious vehicle parked across the street from his house. Police ran a check on the vehicle, which was legally parked, and found nothing suspicious.

GRANT

SEPT. 18

Loose horse. A loose horse was reported in the 8300 block of Kimbro Avenue. The animal, which had thrown its rider and was almost hit by a car, was eventually secured.

LAKE ELMO

SEPT. 19

Deer shining. A resident in the 9700 block of 55th Street reported that there were three or four people in the woods behind the resident's house shining lights on deer. An officer checked the area but did not find anyone.

MAHTOMEDI

SEPT. 17

Fireworks complaint. Police responded to a report of fireworks in the area of Hason Road and Warner Avenue but heard and saw no activity.

SEPT. 19

Vandalism. Ice cream cones from Dairy Queen were reportedly thrown at a house in the 1200 block of Hallam Avenue.

OAKDALE

SEPT. 15

Theft. A man reportedly left Sgt. Peppers Grille & Bar, 930 Helena Av., without paying a $23.26 tab. He was observed leaving the establishment in a vehicle with Wisconsin plates. Police said a 34-year-old man is the registered owner of the vehicle and matches the description of the man who left without paying his tab.

Disorderly conduct. A 28-year-old woman reported confronting a man for driving the wrong way in the 6400 block of 54th Street. The man became angry, exited his car and started yelling at the woman. The incident was witnessed by a neighbor.

SEPT. 18

Property damage, motor vehicle accident. A man in the 4800 block of Granada Avenue reported that someone took his son's parked truck from the driveway and backed it into a neighbor's yard, striking and damaging a retaining wall in the process. The vehicle was then returned to the driveway with the keys left in the ignition. The incident was believed to be a prank gone awry.

SEPT. 19

Property damage. A man in the 700 block of Heron Circle reported that sometime during the night someone set off a plastic "MacGyver" bomb in his yard. There was a small red mark left on the window of his house.

SEPT. 20

Theft. A man reported the theft of his boat, boat trailer and two bicycles from an underground garage in the 5600 block of Hadley Avenue. A red pickup truck was seen leaving the garage pulling the boat. Investigation in the case continues, pending further review of surveillance video.

STILLWATER

SEPT. 17

Juvenile tobacco possession. Authorities acting on a tip of possible marijuana possession instead found cigarettes in a juvenile's locker at Stillwater Junior High School, 523 W. Marsh St.

Loose dog. A St. Bernard was reported running loose in the area of 1st Street N. and Stillwater Avenue. The dog had been found by its owner by the time police responded to the report.

SEPT. 19

Suspicious situation. A homeowner in the 3300 block of Settlers Avenue called police when her dog began barking around 2 a.m. Police checked the area, which has had several recent vehicle break-ins, and found nothing.

Property damage. Someone reported that vehicles in the 7800 block of Newberry Court had been egged.
