Movie at River MarketIndependent filmmaker Marie-Monique Robin's documentary, "The World According to Monsanto," will be screened at 7 p.m. Monday at the Loft, a second-floor room above the photo restoration firm Images of the Past and Present at 218 N. Main St.

Robin used secret documents with first-hand accounts by victims, scientists and politicians to create the documentary that takes an inside look at Monsanto.

WOODBURY

Man who helped Lewis and ClarkGeorge Drouillard was a valuable member of the Lewis and Clark expedition. Half French and half Shawnee Indian, Drouillard was the one the explorers turned to when they needed somebody who could talk to Indians who had never seen white men before and when they encountered other obstacles during their journey west.

Historical storyteller Darrel Draper will introduce people to the frontiersman in his 45-minute program, "George Drouillard: Hunter, Interpreter and Indian Sign-Talker for Lewis and Clark," at 2 p.m. Sunday in the City Central Park Amphitheater, 8595 Central Park Place.

He also will appear at 2 p.m. Saturday at Wildwood Library, 763 Stillwater Road, Mahtomedi.

BAYPORT

Derby Days events SaturdayFor a day of fun, head to Derby Days, the river city's annual celebration put on by the Bayport Community Action League.

Things kick off with breakfast at 8 a.m. Saturday , followed by a pet parade at 10 a.m. and a children's music and story time at 11 a.m.
