Fishing in the Otter Tail Lake area continues to be good. Bass bite on lakes is exceptional with artificial baits such as Sally Jigs or spinner baits.
Sunfish are picking up using Maynard skeeter bugs tipped with a wax worm or night crawler piece.
Walleyes are being caught using crawlers, leeches, redtails and suckers. Spinner rigs are working best with crawlers and leeches and a bottom bouncer.
Redtail and suckers work best on a jig or Lindy rigging. Depths have ranged from 8 feet to 25 feet depending on weather conditions. Rapalas are the answer for the later in the evening bite until around midnight on the flats of Otter Tail Lake, in 8 feet to 10 feet of water. The bite has been good in the evenings.
