The city's 65 wading pools will begin opening Saturday, but some will remain closed as the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board makes repairs.
Opening a day after students are released for the summer, the pools are open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and are free to use.
Seven pools will open later in the summer, including Audubon Park, Byrn Mawr Park and North Mississippi.
