Waconia Brewing Set to Open Wednesday

On Wednesday, October 22nd at 2:00 PM Waconia Brewing will open it's doors to the public.

On Wednesday, October 22nd at 2:00 PM Waconia Brewing will open it's doors to the public. Tom Schufman will be the Head Brewer after spending time at Fulton and Northern Brewer. He plans to brew a Kolsch, an Amber, and an IPA. A Belgian Wheat and Belgian Pale are also in the works but will not quite be ready for the opening day.

Owners Pete and Dee DeLange and Bob and Kaye DeLange are excited to open the first Waconia brewery in over a hundred years. The brewery itself will be located downtown at 255 Main Street West and the building measures in at 5,500 square feet and includes a taproom.
