Election Day is just six days away. If you can't make it to the polls Tuesday, early absentee voting continues to be an option. This year, for the first time, Minnesotans don't need an excuse for why they want to vote absentee. Anyone eligible to vote can do so, including in person.
In Hennepin County, there are several spots to cast an absentee ballot. You can vote in person from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday at the Hennepin County elections office in Minneapolis. You can also check with your city for options. For more information, go to www.startribune.com/myvote, www.hennepin.us/residents/elections/absentee-voting or http://mnvotes.org/.
