1. Alyssa Goehner, jr., OH, Lakeville North

State champion as a freshman, runner-up as a sophomore, national champion (with Northern Lights U17 team) this summer.

2. Sarah Wilhite, sr., OH, Eden Prairie

In a word, clutch. Smacked the 3A championship kill last fall and in the Northern Lights national championship. Headed to Wisconsin.

3. Taylr McNeil, jr., OH, Eagan

No longer a Gophers recruit, but she will continue to shine locally for now on a Wildcats team that will be tough to handle.

4. Anna Pioske, sr., OH, Waconia

Set the school record for blocks last season using her 30-inch vertical jump and can hit, too (459 kills).

5. Samantha Seliger-Swenson, so., S, Hopkins

Rising star who is already in her fourth year of varsity. Spent part of the summer on a USA Youth National team that competed in Croatia and Italy.
