FRIDAY

Vita.mn presents Crush 2013

In preparation for Valentine's Day, Vita.mn is searching for the most crush-worthy people in the Twin Cities. Crush is the party that kicks it all off, with a three-ring circus of fashion, music, cocktails and of course mingling with some of the most attractive people in town. Festivities include a fashion show with Ignite Models and looks from local boutiques and designers; live music from BNLX, DJs Jonathan Ackerman and Sovietpanda; a vintage arcade lounge from Insert Coin(s) and a photo booth, all within the historic Woman's Club of Minneapolis. Crushes have been nominated online at www.vita.mn/crush, but you also can register at the party, and all contestants must attend for the chance to win $800 in fancy prizes. Formerly branded "Hotness," and "Most Eligible Bachelor/ette" before that, the party is stacking up to be as fun as ever. (7 p.m. Fri. Fashion shows at 8:30 p.m. & 10 p.m. $15 for fashion show and party; $5 for party only. 21 and older. The Woman's Club of Minneapolis, 410 Oak Grove St. www.vita.mn/crush or crush13.brown papertickets.com.) JAHNA PELOQUIN
