Former Vikings receiver Mike Wallace leads the Ravens with 239 receiving yards this season.
In 22 games over two seasons with Baltimore, Wallace has 87 catches for 1,256 yards and five TDs. He caught 39 passes in his only season with the Vikings in 2015.
"Mike's always been a speed guy and Joe [Flacco] can really throw the ball," Vikings defensive coordinator George Edwards said. "I think those two have connected on some big plays, which is something we definitely have to pay attention to this week."
In the clutch
Some quarterbacks seem to consistently play their best in the clutch, so count Zimmer among those who believe that to be a trait like arm strength or intelligence.
Today's active NFL leaders in game-winning drives are all Super Bowl winners: Tom Brady (51), Drew Brees (42), Eli Manning (39) and Ben Roethlisberger (39).
"The guys that usually win the big games. The guy [Aaron Rodgers] we played last week," Zimmer said. "There are lots of them you need to be really careful with in those situations," Zimmer said. "Yeah, the guys who are cool under pressure and don't let the outside things affect you."
Seeking a returner
Zimmer wouldn't say Thursday who will return kicks against Baltimore.
Rookie Stacy Coley, who was the University of Miami's returner as a freshman and sophomore, replaced Jerick McKinnon against Green Bay and had one return for 19 yards.
