The Lions have done a better job protecting Matthew Stafford after giving up 10 sacks to the Vikings on Nov. 4. But Stafford is averaging only 212 passing yards over the past seven games, starting with that loss in Minnesota.
The Lions managed only 117 yards on six second-half possessions. Kenny Golladay had 146 receiving yards and Zach Zenner (Eagan) rushed for a 1-yard TD for the second week in a row.
His strong play of late was tarnished by a costly offsides penalty Sunday, when he made nine tackles. He had eight tackles, including two for loss and a sack, in Week 14 at Arizona.
The Vikings have not fared well in Detroit during the Stafford Era. Still, they can't really lose this one, can they? Outlook: Horns up.
The Wolves didn’t appear engaged at either end of the floor and lost for the third time in four games.
