The Vikings are adding another of Mike Zimmer's former defenders from Cincinnati, but it's not Reggie Nelson or Vincent Rey (not yet at least).

The Vikings have agreed to terms with former Bengals outside linebacker Emmanuel Lamur, who is expected to bolster the depth at that position.

According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, it will be a two-year contract worth $6 million. There is $2.5 million in guaranteed money.

The Bengals, with Zimmer working as their defensive coordinator then, signed Lamur as an undrafted free agent in 2012. He played in 39 games for the Bengals, starting 15 of them. He has recorded 150 career tackles.

Lamur, at 6-foot-4 and 245 pounds, is similar in size to Pro Bowl outside linebacker Anthony Barr. And he played a similar role under Zimmer, too.

As we wrote earlier today, the Vikings have also reportedly agreed to terms with former Lions linebacker Travis Lewis. That boosts their numbers at linebacker, where Chad Greenway, Jason Trusnik and Casey Matthews are now free agents. Zimmer had said he expects Greenway to re-sign, though.
