The Vikings signed tackle Rashod Hill off the Jaguars practice squad on Tuesday.

Hill, 24, joined the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of Southern Mississippi. The 6-foot-6, 303-pound tackle played on the left side in college and started at left tackle during the Jaguars' Sept. 1 preseason finale.

Hill takes the roster spot previously occupied by tackle Jake Long, who underwent surgery Tuesday to repair a torn Achilles and was placed on injured reserve.

At tackle, the Vikings are down to T.J. Clemmings, Jeremiah Sirles, Willie Beavers and Hill. They also have 2015 seventh-round pick Austin Shepherd on the practice squad.
