The Vikings added defensive back Chris Stroud today and cut defensive back Nick Taylor, the former Florida International point guard.

Taylor suffered a shoulder injury in practice last week, and coach Leslie Frazier said it was a torn labrum, meaning he'll miss all of training camp.

Stroud is a rookie from Webber International.

Taylor had intriguing speed and played semi-pro football. He was profiled after mini-camp by the Star-Tribune's Craig Malveaux here
