The Vikings have officially put Phil Loadholt, who tore his Achilles' tendon Saturday night, on injured reserve, freeing up a roster spot.
After working out multiple offensive linemen today, the Vikings signed Stephen Goodin, who has spent time with the Giants and Cowboys.
Goodin, who played collegiately at Nebraska-Kearney, signed with the Giants as an rookie free agent in 2012. He spent two years with the Giants, appearing in one game in 2013. He spent the 2014 preseason with Dallas.
Goodin provides depth after the injuries to Loadholt and Carter Bykowski.
