The Vikings announced that they have signed wide receiver Josh Cooper to their 90-man roster.

Cooper, 25, had previously been with the Browns, who originally signed him as an undrafted free agent out of Oklahoma State in 2012. He played 11 games for the Browns over two NFL seasons, catching 17 passes for 166 yards with no touchdowns.

The Browns released Cooper, who is listed at 5-foot-10 and 190 pounds, last month.

To make room on the roster, the Vikings put wide receiver Lestar Jean, who signed with the team in April, on injured reserve. He was waived/injured on Thursday.

The Vikings have 11 wide receivers on their roster heading into next week's mandatory minicamp.
