The Vikings have signed Melvin White to a reserve/future contract.
The cornerback spent his first two seasons with the Carolina Panthers after signing there as an undrafted free agent in 2013. He played 30 games, starting 17 of them, and made 83 tackles and picked off three passes.
After getting cut by the Panthers at the end of the 2015 preseason, he joined the Rams' practice squad and spent the rest of the season there.
The 25-year-old cornerback is listed at 6-foot-1 and 215 pounds.
