Vikings bring back defensive end

October 29, 2013 at 6:18PM

As we wait to see if the Vikings trade defensive end Jared Allen before the 3 p.m. deadline, the team announced that it has re-signed defensive end Justin Trattou.

The team waived tight end Chase Ford, who was promoted from the practice squad last week.

The team signed Trattou on Oct. 9 after he was released by the New York Giants. He was inactive for two games before being released on Saturday.
