MANKATO -- A day after the Vikings agreed to a deal with wide receiver Michael Jenkins, an NFL source confirmed the Vikings are not pursuing free agent receiver Braylon Edwards.

There have been conflicting reports about whether the Vikings were interested in the veteran and at one point they might have been. But that is no longer the case.

The Vikings likely are waiting to see what happens with free agents James Jones (Packers) and Malcom Floyd (San Diego), with Jones likely to end up in Minnesota or Green Bay. The Jets were interested in Jones but have now signed Plaxico Burress.

Also, the Vikings have signed another draft pick, coming to terms with sixth-round linebacker Ross Homan (Ohio State).
