Placing 'big' bets after QB move

What the Vikings have done in recent years to bolster their offensive line after acquiring a quarterback:

After drafting QB Christian Ponder No. 12 overall in the 2011 draft, they used the No. 4 pick in the 2012 draft to select LT Matt Kalil.

After selecting QB Teddy Bridgewater with the final pick in the first round in 2014, they extended C John Sullivan's contract in 2015 and signed free-agent G Alex Boone in 2016.

After trading for QB Sam Bradford before the 2016 season opener, they signed LT Riley Reiff and RT Mike Remmers and drafted C Pat Elflein last year.

After signing free-agent QB Kirk Cousins, it remains to be seen what the Vikings will do to their line. So far, they have added Cousins' friend and Rosemount native G Tom Compton.
