Tennessee's Craig Johnson could be headed to Minnesota, according to a report.

Tennessee Titans running backs coach Craig Johnson has talked to the Vikings about a position on Leslie Frazier's coaching staff, according to the Tennessean.

"I can confirm he's been in contact with another NFL team," Titans Coach Jeff Fisher told the paper Wednesday night. "I think there will be a decision in the next day or so."

It seems possible that Johnson would join Frazier and new offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave as the Vikings quarterbacks coach. The team has openings for both a running backs coach and quarterbacks coach, but Johnson spent nine seasons coaching QBs with the Titans before being moved to running backs coach last offseason when Tennessee hired Kennedy Pola from the Southern Cal coaching staff.

Gene Huey, who was fired by Indianapolis as its running backs coach, told the Indianapolis Star that he has been offered the same job with the Vikings.
