Vikings' Jerick McKinnon recites hilarious Christmas story

December 23, 2016 at 4:58PM

The Minnesota Vikings are in a must-win situation as they prepare for the Green Bay Packers on Saturday at Lambeau Field.

But not even that pressure-packed situation can douse their Christmas spirit, and that's good. A song, a smile — or a hilarious story, perhaps, from running back Jerick McKinnon — can bring joy to the holiday season.

McKinnon read the Vikings' side-splitting take on 'Twas the Night Before Christmas and while wonderfully done, even he had a hard time keeping a straight face throughout.

See it for yourself:

The Packers game will come soon enough, but for now, Happy Holidays!
