Vikings in the playoffs!! And Chicago, roundtrip, for under $100, to boot!

If you're a Vikings fan, here's your chance to follow them to New Orleans. And if they win? Expect some major travel packages to see the big game.

No sooner had the Vikings won the big game last week over Dallas than packages began popping up to take fans to the playoffs with the team.

To that end, Sun Country Airlines continues to offer their last-minute tickets to Sunday's game, which Travel Editor Kerri Westenberg noted here in an earlier post: Airfare is $399 and $499 roundtrip, and that includes transportation to the Superdome -- though that doesn't include ticket price.

More details on the last-minute offer are here:

And, of course, if the Vikings WIN this weekend's game, then they're headed for Miami on Feb. 7. No doubt superfans will be planning their trip on Sunday night.

To that end, Expedia.com is already ahead of you. The internet travel company has already locked in special hotel deals and ticket packages for Super Bowl weekend, that include airfare, hotel accommodations, tickets to the game and merchandise coupons.

It's not cheap -- about $3,600 per person, as of this writing -- but for some, I guess, there's no dollar amount you could pay to see the Vikings in a Super Bowl. Details on the Expedia packages can be found here:

Be ready to click there should it become obvious the Vikings will be going.

There are other packages as well. The Greater Miami Convention and Visitor's Bureau is touting several specials for Super Bowl fans, including:

--- A Super Bowl package at Sonesta Bayfront Hotel Coconut for $429 per night. Details here: http://www.sonesta.com/coconutgrove/

---The South Beach Group is offering packages starting at $219 per night. Details here: http://www.southbeachgroup.com/superbowlhotels/

I'll try to add some more links as I see them.

Of course, there's more to last-minute deals than just the Vikings.

Take, for example, Chicago next weekend for $96.

That's one of the dozens of last-minute flights out of the Twin Cities on sale this week from United Airlines. The price is just $112 to fly out this weekend and just $96 to fly out next weekend.

(The standard rules apply: Purchase by this Friday, depart on Saturday and return the following Monday or Tuesday).

It's not just Chicago. There's Greenville for $176, Allentown, Pa., for $184, Oakland Calif. for $218 and Monterey, Calif. for $246.

The full list of cities can be found here:

Fly.com is also offering airfare to Chicago next weekend for as low as $101.

That information can be found at the Fly.com link here:

Also this week: Delta is offering a last-minute fare to Cincinnati for $138 round trip.

That deal can be found here:
