Vikings get roster exemption for Cook

League spokesman says cornerback placed on reserved/suspended list.

NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said in an email that the Vikings have received a roster exemption for cornerback Chris Cook.

Cook, who was suspended without pay by the team, was placed on the reserved/suspended list and does not count against the 53-man roster. Coach Leslie Frazier said early today that signing a cornerback is a possibility.
