After opening the preseason with a 14-3 loss Saturday night at Tennessee, the Vikings had the day off Sunday.

They will return to work Monday at Winter Park after breaking training camp in Mankato last Friday. The Vikings will practice Monday through Thursday before leaving for Seattle on Friday. The Vikings will play their second preseason game on Saturday night in Seattle.

I should point out that the practices at Winter Park are not open to the public like they are in Mankato. Also, reporters are not allowed to tweet or blog from practice, which is the usual practice for the Vikings once the workouts are closed to the public.

As far as the coverage in Monday's paper, here's a look at five areas of focus coming off Saturday's game. Also, quarterback Joe Webb remained upbeat despite having some shaky moments. I give Webb credit for this much: He doesn't seem to over think things or put too much pressure on himself. That's almost certainly a good thing.
