The Vikings were forced to stay in Baltimore a little longer than they had planned Sunday.

According to reports on Twitter the team's plane was hit by a catering truck, delaying its trip back to Minneapolis for several hours.

Backup defensive end Chase Baker (@ChaseBaler91) tweeted from his personal account: "Apparently the catering truck ran into our plane ... So we're stuck here for 3 hours. Not the snow... The catering truck #areyoujoking?!"

Fullback Jerome Felton tweeted a similar reaction.

Radio play-by-play voice Paul Allen (@PAKFANVikes) tweeted several pictures from his account, indicating the Vikings spent the late afternoon at the stadium in Baltimore waiting for a new plane to arrive.

The team finally left for the airport around 7 p.m.
