Free-agent defensive end Justin Trattou announced on Twitter this afternoon that he has re-signed with the Vikings "for another year."
Trattou played five games in 2015. He mostly contributed on special teams, but he did manage to pick off a pair of passes in just 12 defensive snaps.
Trattou originally joined the Vikings in the middle of the 2013 season. He has played 10 games for them over the past three seasons.
The Vikings have now hung on to nine of their 17 free agents, including fullback Zach Line, who was tendered as a restricted free agent.
