Welcome to the 2013 season. At least that's what a late collapse by the Vikings felt like. Remember last season and all those late-game meltdowns? Add this one to the archive. Except you can't blame Leslie Frazier's Tampa-2 scheme or Alan Williams' play-calling. The defense deserves to be criticized for failing to make an impactful play to preserve the win, but the offense didn't exactly help matters. We shouldn't be surprised. We saw the same thing over and over last season.

MANO-A-MANO

Vikings DE Everson Griffen vs Bills LT Cordy Glenn

WHO WON?

Griffen, signed to a big contract to take over for Jared Allen, beat Glenn for three sacks, giving him seven on the year. Allen has 1½ for the Bears.

PLAY OF THE GAME

4TH AND 20

… REALLY?

The Bills' game-winning drive was highlighted by a 24-yard pass from Kyle Orton (18) to Scott Chandler (84) with 1:27 left. The Bills went no-huddle after a sack, and Chandler got past Vikings LB Chad Greenway (52) before he was tackled by S Harrison Smith (22) at the Vikings 36-yard line.

THE QUOTE

"It happened so fast I kind of forgot about some of the plays."
