For the second time in about 10 hours, the Vikings have added depth to their rapidly-depleting offensive line.
The team signed Bridger Buche, an undrafted rookie guard from Eastern Michigan. Receiver A.J. Love was released to make room for him on the 90-man roster.
Grant Cook, another undrafted rookie guard, was signed last night.
For what it's worth, this sunburnt, overheated training camp observer has had his head turned a few times (if that's possible with offensive line play) by undrafted rookie center/guard Quentin Saulsberry. He was first noticed knocking linebacker Everson Griffen off his feet in space during a running play earlier in camp.
Saulsberry also looks much stronger than the typical undrafted rookie offensive lineman. And, better yet, he's got some serious durability. He never missed a game or a start at Mississippi State. He's the only player in that school's history to play in and start every game. He did that 49 times.
