Vikings activate two from practice squad

• Running back Joe Banyard and cornerback Robert Steeples were activated from the Vikings practice squad on Saturday. Banyard provides insurance at running back with Adrian Peterson (foot) and Toby Gerhart (hamstring) both listed as questionable for Sunday's game. Steeples was promoted because cornerback Xavier Rhodes (ankle) is listed as doubtful and safety Chris Cook (knee) is questionable.

• The Vikings also placed cornerback Josh Robinson (fractured sternum) on injured reserve, ending his season, and waived offensive tackle Mike Remmers.
