Vikings 2010 home-and-road schedule set

Arizona winning the NFC West on Sunday means the Vikings opponents for next season are set.

The NFL won't release the complete 2010 schedule with dates and times until April but the Vikings opponents are set now that the Arizona Cardinals have won the NFC West. Here is a look at who the Vikings will play next season with either Brett Favre, Sage Rosenfels, Tarvaris Jackson or a yet-to-be determined player starting at quarterback for them.

Home: Chicago, Detroit, Green Bay, Dallas, New York Giants; Buffalo, Miami, Arizona.

Away: Chicago, Detroit, Green Bay, Philadelphia, Washington, New England, New York Jets, New Orleans.

If Favre returns, and at this point nobody knows the answer to that one, I would guess the Vikings will play six night games with at least one being on a Thursday night on NFL Network. Three teams are allowed to play six prime-time games and Favre being on the Vikings roster makes them a likely candidate.
