You can view entries in the 2011 Federal Duck Stamp Art Contest (for the 2012-2013 federal stamp) at this web site:

Judging will be held at the National Conservation Training Center in Shepherdstown, West Virginia, on Oct. 28 and 29.

Artists could choose from one of five duck species: Mallard, Blue-winged Teal, Cinnamon Teal, Wood Duck, and Gadwall.

The winning entry will appear on next year's "duck stamp," to go on sale at post offices in June. Money from sale of the stamp is used to purchase land for national wildlife refuges and waterfowl management areas. Both land uses support many species of non-game birds. The stamp is an excellent investment in bird conservation.
