Liquid gold

After a production delay, the rerelease of "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" finally hits stores Monday. James Cameron's 1991 landmark is best remembered for the liquid-metal special effect that allowed murderous robot T-1000 (Robert Patrick) to morph into various shapes. Those five minutes of computer-generated effects took 35 people, working a total of 25 man-years. But at heart, as Cameron stresses, this is a "nuclear family drama" — and a must-have DVD for your collection.
