Here's the video from the fruitless search for Jim Thome's home run at Target Field on Thursday night.

Sometimes, the video is just better than the words. This is one of those cases.

The only thing we can add is that, according to Twins announcer Dick Bremer, the Target Field grounds crew was promising a thorough post-game search.

On Friday morning, Dustin Morse, the team's senior manager of baseball communications, tweeted: "For those wondering, we found Jim Thome's home run ball. I plan on sending it to him later today. #SearchFor607."

Well, Upload can add one more thing.

After Thome's home runs the last two nights, the Phillies should feel obligated to send Thome back to the American League after interleague play is done so he can DH and mash more homers.
