Veteran's Day restaurant deals

Everyone has heard of Applebee's free entree to veterans and active military today, but others are offering freebies too.

Applebee's offers a free entree Wednesday from 11 a.m. to midnight at all locations.

Outback Steakhouse will offer a free Bloomin' Onion, appetizer and beverage on Veteran's Day only. Outback has nine Minnesota locations.

Krispy Kremewill offer one free donut on Veteran's Day if you want to drive to West Allis, Wis., the closest remaining one to the Twin Cities.

Hy-Vee is offering a free breakfast untill 11 a.m. on Veteran's Day. The closest Hy-Vee is in Faribault.
