With the NFL draft approaching on April 22, teams continue to prepare for the draft by attending the various Pro Days that are hosted by numerous colleges.

Wednesday will be one of the bigger ones with Southern Cal and Texas both scheduled to hold their Pro Days. This will enable scouts to get a look at former Trojans safety Taylor Mays and former Longhorns quarterback Colt McCoy and safety Earl Thomas.

Here is an item from the National Football Post on Wednesday's Pro Days. Vikings vice president of player personnel Rick Spielman and the team's scouting staff will gather at Winter Park in early April to resume more draft-related meetings.

Don't forget, the NFL's preseason schedule is due to be released this afternoon. Check back to Access Vikings and also to www.twitter.com/juddzulgad for updates.
