The weather pattern will be flipped upside down across Europe early this week. A slow-moving storm will bring widespread rain and cool weather to southern Europe. Meanwhile, northern Europe will have warm weather with sunshine.

Temperatures will rise into the 60 and even 70s from the United Kingdom across France, Germany and Poland. Meanwhile, soaking rain will fall across Italy, the Balkans and Greece. Temperatures will struggle to get out of the 50s Monday and Tuesday across these areas. It will actually be cold enough for some snow Tuesday into Wednesday across the higher elevations of Bulgaria and the Balkans The warmth will spread across most of the continent by the end of the week.

Temperatures will be well into the 70s from Spain to France east to the Ukraine by Friday.
