Cities like Cheyenne, Denver, and Grand Junction will miss out on the snow, but highways through the mountains will have snow-covered or slushy roadway conditions into Monday morning.
A general 1-3 inches of snow will fall over the Colorado Rockies and over the northern Rocky Mountains and western South Dakota. Higher amounts of 3-6 inches will be in store for the highest peaks in Montana and Wyoming as well as the Black Hills of South Dakota. Up to an additional foot of snow will pile up in the Yellowstone National Park.
