Unions react -- postively -- to Dayton's budget plan

Public employees, AFL-CIO say it would help the middle class.

Within minutes of Gov. Mark Dayton's unveiling of his budget plan for the next two years, a pair of big unions -- the Minnesota Association of Professional Employees and the AFL-CIO -- both weighed in on it, specifically saying it would be a boon tro the state's middle class. Here, in part, is the public employees' assessment:

A little later, the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees weighed in, calling Dayton's plan "a fair budget fix." The union added:
