For a day during the St. Paul Winter Carnival, at least, Union Depot is going to the dogs.

Dog-lovers, take note. On Saturday, Feb. 6, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., St. Paul's downtown Union Depot will become Doggie Depot. And, yes, you can bring your pooch.

With the help of Sidewalk Dog, this free event offers a variety of canine-centered activities, including:

– A day of shopping pet-friendly vendors
– Q&A with Katie K9 from myTalk 107.1 - Minneapolis/St. Paul
– Multiple rescues with dogs up for adoption
– The crowning of the first ever Saint Paul Winter Carnival Canine-King Boreas and Canine-Queen of Snows

Grand prize winners will each receive $250 and $250 to their pet-charity of their choice. Visit:http://www.mytalk1071.com/doggie-depot/ to vote through Feb. 2.
