A 20-year-old man from Stillwater died Friday evening in a one-vehicle crash in Wisconsin's Sawyer County, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
The man, who was alone in his car, was driving east on Hwy. 27/70 near Turkey Trot Road near Hayward, Wis., just before 6 p.m. when he tried to negotiate a descending curve to the left. His car veered to the right, went into a ditch and rolled over, authorities said. The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was partly ejected from his vehicle.
He died at the scene. His name is being withheld until relatives can be notified.
Alcohol use is not suspected, authorities said.
