A motorist lost control of his minivan southwest of Fergus Falls, Minn., and was killed, authorities said Thursday.
The single-vehicle wreck occurred about 11:50 a.m. Wednesday on Otter Tail County Hwy. 1, roughly 2 miles south of Interstate 94, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Thomas A. Milbrandt, 67, of Fergus Falls, died in the wreck. The Sheriff’s Office said Milbrandt was not wearing his seat belt when the southbound van drifted into the ditch to the right, hit an embankment and flipped onto its roof.
