The University of Minnesota has launched "an international search" for the next dean of the Carlson School of Management.

A newly-named search committee will work through the fall and winter. The goal is to name a new dean in March.

U Provost Thomas Sullivan appointed Mary Nichols, dean of the U's College of Continuing Education and Carlson professor, to chair the search committee. Here are its other members:

Carlson's former leader Alison Davis-Blake left to become dean at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. Prof. Sri Zaheer is serving as interim dean.
