If you don't care about baseball, the fireworks show in downtown Minneapolis that ended after 12:30 a.m. late Monday/early Tuesday was probably pretty annoying. The price of living in a major city with a major national event?

This is traditionally the slowest sports day of the year, with baseball still on break after the All-Star festivities at Target Field. ESPN knows this and will show the ESPY Awards at 8 p.m.
