A St. Paul man died late Monday night after he was shot outside a home with his teenage daughter nearby.
The shooting on the 700 block of Orange Avenue East occurred about 18 minutes after another man was shot in the arm a few blocks away, near Rose Avenue East and Arcade Street. He's expected to survive his injury, police said.
In both cases, the shooter was on foot when he approached his victims and fled, police said. It was unclear Monday night whether the two shootings were related.
According to preliminary information, a man and his daughter were unloading a vehicle when the father was shot. The daughter was unharmed, police said.
The man was taken to Regions Hospital, where he died.
