August 27, 2015 at 4:12AM

Two men who led police on a foot chase Wednesday night after assaulting someone with a weapon on Interstate 694 and Snelling Avenue North are now in custody, according to the Ramsey County Sheriff's Office.

A victim was transported to the hospital, and the person's condition is not known.

The incident snarled traffic in Arden Hills and neighboring Roseville, New Brighton and Mounds View as police combed the area for the two men.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation tweeted about 9:45 p.m. that freeway ramps and some lanes of traffic were closed on I-694 and I-35W.

No other suspects are being sought at this time.
