Two people were found dead after a house fire in rural Braham, Minn., officials said Wednesday.
Isanti County authorities were notified of the fire at 41125 Polk St. NE just before noon Tuesday by a passerby who “stated that … it was fully involved.”
Firefighters from Braham and Cambridge extinguished the fire. After further investigation, there was reason to believe people may have been in the house, the Isanti County Sheriff’s Office said.
“After several hours of sifting through the debris, investigators and fire personnel located the bodies of two individuals. It is believed that the bodies are that of a male and female,” the sheriff’s office said.
One of the victims has been identified, but the name has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
