The Twins have not discussed if Liam Hendriks will make his next scheduled start yet. Hendriks was knocked out in the first inning yesterday, the latest in a run of poor recent starts. Cole De Vries replaced Hendriks and pitched five innings, and manager Ron Gardenhire said that the next start will go to De Vries or Hendriks.

When Darin Mastroianni replaced the ejected Pedro Florimon on Monday, it was just his second appearance at second base for the Twins. The other time was last season, also at U.S. Celullar Field. Brian Dozier was warming up to enter the game but Twins manager Ron Gardenhire was determined to give him a day off.

Jim Thome stopped by to say hello on Tuesday. Thome is a special assistant with the White Sox.

Gardenhire was unhappy about the defense last night as his club was out of position three times on relays. ``Those are the things I am looking at. That's when I get disappointed, when we are not paying attention. Not only did we give up all those runs we missed three relays last night when when we didn't have guys in the right spots.

The value of the Twins has grown exponentially in 40 years. The price of the Wolves nearly doubled in three years. The increases have put club ownership out of reach for even ‘minor billionaires.’
