The Twins believe Pelfrey is starting to turn the corner. He has pitched into the seventh inning in each of his past two starts while showing better command and a more relaxed delivery. He lasted only four innings against the White Sox on May 15. … Brian Dozier leads Twins regulars in June with a .297 batting average and is second with a .381 on-base percentage. What about Joe Mauer? He's batting .280 in June, which is scandalous for him. He does, however, have a .410 OBP. … Mauer and Justin Morneau are batting a combined .349 against Danks in their careers.
