Twins prepare for a chilly weekend series against the Mets, their first interleague series of the season.

As of now, the Twins intend to play their game against the Mets on Friday, as Vance Worley is set to take the ball against Jonathan Niese.

Shovel crews are at Target Field and ready to clear any snow that that falls overnight and into Friday. The forecast calls for a total of 4-8 inches by the time this two-day mess is over with. Game time temps could be near freezing.

What timing for an interleague series. These games have to be played or it creates a mess to try to reschedule. Saturday's game is scheduled for 3:10. You wonder if the Twins will just punt on Friday's game and try to play two on Saturday, when the forecast is for a balmy 39 degrees.
